Led by a dedicated group of local leaders, the Board of Directors guides the McMinnville Area Community Foundation with expertise, vision, and a commitment to strengthening our community.

MACF Board of Directors

  • Dave Haugeberg was a member of the Oregon State Bar Association from 1965 until 2023, specializing in banking, municipal and business law.  He currently serves as the Chair of the Yamhill County Parkway Committee (Newberg/Dundee Bypass); the Vice Chair of the Board of the Yamhill County Gospel Rescue Mission (the Mission); the President of MV Advancements, (serving approximately 230 persons with development disabilities); he is a past Chair and continues to serve as a trustee on the Board of Trustees of Linfield College; and has served as an Elder of the Presbyterian Church.

  • Steve Fitzpatrick graduated from Portland State University in 1972.  Steve has over 30 years in public accounting.  He began his career in public accounting with a local Portland firm and worked in private industry for two years before coming to McMinnville in the early 1980’s and joining a local practitioner in public accounting.  Steve volunteers for a number of non-profits as either treasurer or in many cases just doing the annual tax reporting for the entity free gratis.  Over the years, Steve has been involved in many community organizations and events ranging from the early days as a Jaycee to more recently with the Rotary Foundation.

  • Dianne Haugeberg Shea is a member of the Oregon State Bar Association and the California State Bar Association.  After receiving her J.D. she earned her LL.M. in federal taxation.  In her law practice, she specializes in estate and tax planning as well as estate administration.  Dianne has served on several local non-profit boards and provided pro bono legal services to the McMinnville Area Habitat for Humanity board for several years.  She has served on several local boards including the Yamhill Enrichment Society, the Presbyterian Church endowment committee, Kids on the Block, the McMinnville Noon Rotary Foundation, and A Family Place relief nursery and currently serves as President on the McMinnville Swim Club board and is a member of the McMinnville Programming Advisory Committee (MacPAC).

  • René Bittle is the Finance Manager for Lutheran Community Services Northwest – Yamhill County. In 2016, Rene’ left a 26-year banking career to follow a passion for helping others, especially children who face neglect and abuse.  René is a graduate of Pacific Coast Banking School, National Graduate School of Banking at the University of Washington. She has served on several local non-profit and civic boards including the McMinnville Kiwanis Foundation, McMinnville Area Chamber of Commerce, A Family Place Relief Nursery of Yamhill County Leadership Council, Yamhill County Early Learning Council, and the McMinnville Downtown Association board. René is a member of the McMinnville Noon Kiwanis Club.

  • Jeb Bladine is President/Publisher of Oregon Lithoprint, Inc. / News-Register Publishing Co. He was born and raised in McMinnville, graduated from the University of Oregon in 1969 with a degree in general social science, and from the American Management Association’s Management Internship Program in New York. He returned to McMinnville in 1974 as editor of the News-Register, a position he held for 40 years. He has been active in diverse leadership roles in local and state downtown associations, state and national newspaper associations, various civic development projects and other community organizations. He currently serves on the Associated Oregon Industries Board of Directors and Executive Committee.

  • Allan Larsen is a graduate of Oregon State University and was, until 2019, the co-owner of Larsen Motor Company, a Cadillac-Buick-GMC dealership in McMinnville.  Al has served on a number of boards and commissions, including Henderson House, McMinnville Charitable Fund, and McMinnville Industrial Promotions as a director and president.  He also served on the McMinnville Planning Commission and the McMinnville Water and Light Commission.  In addition, Al has been a supporter of many important community needs including those supporting children and those without adequate housing and food.

  • Steve Rupp has a degree in physics and worked in the fields of microwave components, telecommunications and fiber optics.  In 1998 Steve visited McMinnville, stayed at Steiger Haus, enjoyed Cornerstone Coffee, attended Gallery Players and fell in love with McMinnville.  He moved to McMinnville, joined Friends of the Library, the board of the Willamette Valley Cancer Foundation and was a key factor in the establishment of the McMinnville Downtown Association Committee for Public Art.  Steve, a collector of art, has been one of the driving forces in the placement of public art throughout the McMinnville area.

  • Jennifer Feero is a McMinnville native who graduated from the University of Oregon with a degree in psychology. She is a local realtor with Willamette West and a co-owner of La Bella Casa with her mother, Rhonda Feero.  Jen has been deeply involved with local charities benefiting our community including serving on the McMinnville Downtown Association and the Visit McMinnville boards. 

  • Patty Herzog has over two decades of experience in rural economic development, and is committed to strengthening communities through collaboration and service. She has held roles as a small business owner, rural elected official, and state-level leader in economic and community development. In addition to serving on the McMinnville Area Community Foundation board, Patty volunteers with the Chemeketa College Foundation Executive Board, Willamette Workforce Partnership Board, and the McMinnville Airport Commission. She is passionate about entrepreneurship, community building, and supporting local investment that creates lasting impact.

Investment Advisor

Kevin Chambers is a Managing Partner of Headwater Investments. Headwater has been a partner with the McMinnville Area Community Foundation since its founding. Kevin earned his BA with a double major in Economics and International Political Economy from the University of Puget Sound in Tacoma, Washington. While completing Willamette University’s MBA for Professionals, he wrote a capstone on how to better serve non-profits as an advisor. Kevin has a passion for working with non-profit organizations and being an active member of the McMinnville community. He is a board member for the McMinnville Noon Rotary Club and Community Home Builders. He is also a member of the McMinnville School District Citizen Oversight Committee and the McMinnville Programming Advisory Committee (MacPAC).
